Provided structural engineering and design for the removal of two existing skylights to be replaced with two retractable, nesting skylights. Analyzed existing structure for additional loads imposed on structure due to the retractable skylights. Designed structural steel framing system to support movable skylights along the length of the lightwell. The new retractable skylights provide an open air space for inmates.
